This has been our vet for about a year now and we love it!!! It’s clean, spacious, fast and reliable service and staff. My two dogs like coming here, and I couldn’t be happier . We have tried two other vets in Henderson before highlands and we unfortunately didn’t have very good experiences. I love highlands animal care vet. It’s close to him, offer all the services my two dogs need of whom one is a senior and the other a puppy. I’m extremely happy and content here. Would truly recommend :) The prices are reasonable and they’re upfront about it.

I cannot Thank Dr. Jones and her assistants enough for her patience with my very anxious, scared of everything and everyone GSD. Since my fur baby girl's original Vet moved away, she did not trust anyone else. Finally, after 6 or 7 different vet tries over the last couple of years, we found a Gem of a Dr. again for her!! I love the waiting room set up and love the consul room that is homey and safe feeling for the animals. To say today was a major accomplishment is a true understatement for my baby girl because of these people! I am so Thankful to you all for your help and care for my Lani Queen!! She is no longer behind on her vaccines!! Thanks to you all!

6/5/26 This is my second review for this amazing hospital. I am a vet assistant with a mobile company (Vets Off Leash) so I need a place to bring my own fur babies when procedures are needed. My French bulldog, Ferdinand, needed a dental cleaning with an oral mass removal as well as a subcutaneous mass removal. I had a bad experience last year at another clinic so I was anxious about this procedure. Highlands again blew me away with their level of care. Dr. Hussey listened to all of my concerns and we built a treatment plan together. The day of the procedure I felt relaxed and knew my guy would be well taken care of because Hailey, her technician, was so communicative and confident. I dropped him off around 8am and was able to pick him up at 1:30pm- fastest I've ever been able to do a pick up. Ferdy was quickly back to his ornery, opinionated self. He now has his quirky, cute smile back. I couldn't be happier!. Pricing was reasonable and worth every penny. Thank you, Dr Hussey and Hailey!! 11/13/25 I am a vet assistant and receptionist (most recently with the Vets Mobile) so I have very high standards when it comes to pet care. This hospital is the only hospital in Vegas that I have felt comfortable taking my baby to. My Boxer had a mast cell tumor that needed removal. After seeing all the great reviews for this hospital, I made an appt for consultation. Their website is very easy to navigate and they have a client/patient portal that is super easy to use. I made an appt online through the portal after making an account. I was able to get an appt a day or two later. The hospital is beautiful and clean. Everyone I interacted with was professional, personable, and knowledgeable. Dr. Hussey and her tech were easy to talk to and we were quickly able to make a treatment plan. I appreciated they treated me like a colleague. The estimate for the mass removal was very reasonable and comparable to other clinics in Vegas. The exam notes and invoices are sent directly a

When adopting new cats, I wanted a vet that was not only financial friendly, but rated highly by other customers with their animals in need of care. I stumbled across Highlands Animal Care, and I understand why they have spectacular reviews across the board. The team at Highlands is very responsive, great communication, and you can tell that everyone loves and has a genuine passion for your babies. I have asked these ladies countless questions, and they answer each one with a smile on their face and very informative responses. They’ve been active in my cats’ life with every call I’ve made with different concerns. They also see exotic animals as well, which is wonderful as I’m also a reptile keeper who loves reptiles just as much as anyone else! Their office, rooms, and bathrooms are always very clean and decorated with very humorous posters, which is a nice pick me up if you happen to receive bad news. They’re honest, and not here to do a cash grab-they want what’s best for your baby and you. My cat got diagnosed with asthma, which involved them filling him in on a week where they were rather booked up, but they brought him in to ensure that he was okay. With an asthmatic cat and a lady cat who’s about to be a senior, I couldn’t be any happier to call Highlands Animal Care my trusted veterinarian and am always excited to bring my animals in and see the wonderful staff! Dr. Francher and Dr. Amster are the best. Thank you guys for everything you do with unbeatable care and costs, especially nowadays!

I have two labs and began coming here for almost three years now. One lab is excitable but not aggressive. They handled both of them without issues. Great recommendations about their care but don't push to sell anything you don't want. Glad we found this place and feel safe we the care my dogs receive.

The Saturday before Thanksgiving was a bad day for me. My dog, Barrett, couldn’t walk anymore. I was able to quickly schedule a visit at Highlands to see what could be done to help him. I carried my best friend in there and weighed him. He had gone from 80lbs to 66lbs. That floored me. I knew he had lost weight but I couldn’t believe it was that much. Since he started having mobility issues, my wife and I fed him pot roast at every meal, mixed with fats, broth, potatoes and the occasional puppy gravy. This was bad, but I was hopeful. Dr. Jones came in and found tumors all over his body, his hip was out of place and well…he was dying and suffering. I was so naive, and reality hit like a ton of bricks. It was time and I wasn’t ready to say goodbye. The staff made him a spray cheese and treat charcuterie board, they gave me time to say farewell. We watched Benji, because he’s always loved watching TV and was a huge fan of any animal on a screen. As a puppy, he’d run around the house trying to find any animal he saw on TV. It was a wonderful way to say goodbye with him snuggled on my lap. My wife brought in his favorite soft blanket, my son was able to stop by….everyone that loved him was able to say farewell. The staff never pressured us. They were full of grace, kindness, and compassion. They showed up I a big way on one of our worst days. They gave us what we needed and more. If you’re looking for a vet that gives a shit, and more then look no further. From the top down these folks are superb, they’re excellent and extraordinary. Their mission is to serve and we felt that in that sad day. As long as they are around, I will continue to bring my animals there. I’m not just a satisfied customer, I’m a raving fan and I hope that you might join me if you’ve read this far. Thank you Highlands, you guys are in no small way the best. (Pictured is my buddy and I snoozing the night before his last day).

I cannot express how awesome my experience has been with this organization. Read her website mission statement and if it doesn’t bring a tear of gratitude to your eye, you simply do not get it. She walks that talk! Make no mistake about that. Dr. Monaco came to my home with her Assistant, Lex, and there simply aren’t enough words to explain my awe with the thoroughness and professionalism. You cannot go wrong here. You will be very grateful.

Got me in very quickly. Excellent check in, initial vet tech exam was very thorough. Dr Jones listened carefully to my observations and reviewed the previous vet records. While our cat may have mild kidney disease, Dr Jones did an ultra sound and, unfortunately, found advanced stomach cancer. They treated Gracie with care and respect and found the real problem. I highly recommend Highland.

I am so grateful for the way my dog and I were treated. I am a medical professional myself so I have a high standard for care and they exceeded my expectations. I came in for an emergency visit and the receptionist took my dog right from my arms and rushed her in the back for immediate life saving care. Dr. Hussey sat down and spent a lot of time answering all questions and helping me to understand her diagnosis. When her at home care needed adjustments, they were responsive over texts to send new meds and even had a vet Dr. Amsterdam called me on a Saturday evening after closure and discussed my dogs care at length. They have been the most attentive vet I have ever gone to. My dog is still recovering but I wanted to give my thanks to Highlands from receptionist to providers. We are so grateful!

Huge thank you to Dr Taylor Francher and the team at Highlands Animal Hospital!! My boyfriend and I decided to adopt a teacup Yorkie a few months ago. It was very clear that Kinger had never had the proper health care. We found Highlands through a google search. Our entire experience was beyond amazing. The staff were welcoming and the office was very clean. Unfortunately he needed extreme dental work. Going in we knew it could be costly and we would have to pull out from our new home savings. Gratefully the cost wasn’t as high as we expected. Dr Francher took the time to explain everything in a way that we could understand. The day of surgery went beyond expectations. I got a text when he went in and Dr Francher called during to update me. Our little guy’s teeth were so bad that it was in his best interest to remove them all. It’s been a week since the surgery and Kinger is adjusting better than anticipated. Being toothless hasn’t slowed him down one bit. In fact he seems to be more comfortable and energetic. We can’t imagine taking him anywhere else.
